🌸 MY LIFE STORY 🌸
hello, wanderer!
my name is Marisol. i’m a 31-year-old business
student, bartender, snowboarder, artist, animal lover, and chronic
collector of hobbies currently living in Boulder, Colorado.
i was born in Lima, Peru, and raised in the tropical suburban paradise
of Weston, Florida. growing up in South Florida gave me a permanent love
for warm nights, palm trees, ocean air, loud music, and the delightful
chaos of different cultures. Peru will always be an
important part of my identity, while Florida is the place that shaped
much of who i became.
when i was 25, i traded beaches and palm trees for mountains and snow
and moved to Boulder, Colorado. i came here searching for a different
kind of life—one filled with beautiful landscapes, live music, new
experiences, and people who weren’t afraid to be a little unusual.
Colorado introduced me to snowboarding, mountain adventures, and an
entirely new version of myself. although i will always be a Florida girl
at heart, the mountains have become home.
🍸 WORK, SCHOOL & BIG IDEAS 🍸
i have spent most of my adult life working in hospitality, particularly
as a bartender at hotels, restaurants, festivals, and bars. bartending
taught me far more than how to make a good cocktail: it taught me how to
read a room, connect with almost anyone, remain calm in chaos, and turn
an ordinary night into an experience.
eventually, i decided to return to school and pursue a degree in
Business Administration at the University of Colorado Boulder—sko
Buffs! studying business awakened an entrepreneurial side of me that
had always been there. i became fascinated by branding, strategy,
technology, and the strange process of turning an idea into something
real.
during my education, i also developed a deep interest in artificial
intelligence. i’m fascinated by the possibilities AI creates, as well
as the complicated questions it raises about creativity, consciousness,
identity, ethics, and the future of humanity. naturally, this led me
even further into existentialism—because apparently i enjoy asking
questions that have no comforting answers.
my long-term dream is to combine business, technology, creativity, and
advocacy in ways that make a meaningful difference. i care deeply about
animals and hope to one day work in animal rights, study animal rights
law, and create a sanctuary where rescued animals can live safely and
peacefully.
🎨 THE MANY THINGS I LOVE 🏂
when i’m not studying or mixing cocktails, i’m usually making
something, learning something, or finding a new activity to become
dramatically invested in.
i love painting with watercolor and acrylic, writing, singing,
crocheting, pole dancing, figure skating, snowboarding, surfing, playing
video games, riding dirt bikes, attending concerts, analyzing song
lyrics, watching horror movies, and disappearing into philosophical
rabbit holes.
music is one of the biggest forces in my life. i’m especially drawn to
rock, EDM, country, indie/alternative music, and songs that feel like
memories from a life i may or may not have actually lived. i love live
music, festivals, haunting lyrics, strange films, dark stories, and art
that leaves you thinking about it long after it ends.
i’m also an unapologetic Florida Panthers fan. hockey allegiance is
serious business around here. go Cats! 🏒
🐾 MY ANIMALS 🐾
animals have always occupied a huge part of my heart and my life.
for four years, i was loved by my beautiful white cat, Snowball. she
grew up alongside me and became part of nearly every chapter of my life.
Snowball passed away in late August 2026, but her presence will always
live within me—and now within her own little memorial garden on this
website.
today, my tiny orange-and-white companion is Simba. he is affectionate,
rambunctious, mischievous, deeply committed to sleeping beside me, and
currently conducting an ambitious investigation into everything i own.

✧ i believe people are capable of rebuilding themselves, even after life
takes them somewhere they never expected to go.

destroying the parts of us that make us human.
✧ i believe music can preserve a moment more faithfully than memory.
✧ i believe there is far more to consciousness and reality than we
currently understand.
and i believe a life does not have to follow a straight line to become
something beautiful.

ISLE OF EMBERS 🕯️
a candle company inspired by oceans, embers, memory, ritual, and
atmosphere. i’m currently developing its first collections while
learning every step of building a business from the ground up. it's the
real-time story of developing my candle company—including experiments,
failures, designs, fragrances, business decisions, and everything i
learn along the way.
CHERRY ISLE COCKTAIL COMPANY 🍒
a mobile bartending company created to bring beautiful, personalized
cocktail experiences directly to private parties, weddings, and special
events. inspired by my years behind the bar, Cherry Isle combines
creative mixology, thoughtful hospitality, and a playful tropical
aesthetic. i’ve developed its brand, service concept, event inventory,
website, and business plan—and i hope to bring the company fully to life
as it enters its next chapter.
SEQUOIA 🌲
a screenplay set in an isolated rural community where control, memory,
and perceived reality begin to unravel. it explores manipulation,
identity, belonging, and what it takes to escape a world designed to
keep you inside it.
THE CODED COSMOS ✨
an ongoing philosophical writing project exploring simulation theory,
artificial intelligence, nonlinear time, consciousness, digital
immortality, and the possibility that reality is much stranger than it
appears.
THROUGH THE VEIL: A KETAMINE GNOSIS 🌀
a deeply personal examination of altered consciousness, addiction,
spiritual experiences, perceived “gatekeepers,” and the dangerous line
between revelation and illusion.

the places i have lived, the animals i have loved, the questions that
keep me awake, the art i am still learning to create, and the dreams i
am slowly turning into plans.
